Baby come back ): my boorito house is now closed and I have to settle for the Chipotlane across the street. In homage to the gringo style asada boorito, I tried to look for another wet burrito nearby, but ended up getting a lasagna. This is a sad moment in my life as I will miss my favorite boorito place in the valley... ):

Another great restaurant bites the dust. We pulled up today for lunch to find it locked. Going out of business. Tragic. We love this place. We stopped going to Melody's because it's not that good anymore. The food here was always better. We will miss this place! I am and was proudly the Yelp Duke. So we went to Melody's instead and it was bland bland bland. Bland rice, bland beans, bland cheese enchilada. Chicken taco passable. Tried their Al Pastor taco. Epic fail. Over cooked, dry, with a hint of cinnamon. Just lovely. Now what? Las Fuentes? No parking ever. Sol y Luna? Bad parking again or pay the $8.00 valet, plus expensive. Ugh! Maybe head east. La Fogata is pretty good.

Watch out, look out; great food ahead! I was in Northridge on business travel and needed a quick lunch. A coworker recommended Senor Sol, so I thought I would check it out. Parking was in the back and it was much easier than trying to find street parking. The restaurant is small and cozy. I was cheerfully greeted at the counter and made my order. The burritos looked awesome, but I was in the mood for a lighter lunch so ordered the street tacos. One fish taco and one asada. Both were excellent and the house pico set it off! Highly recommend trying out Senor Sol if you are in the area. A must rather than eating at a boring chain restaurant!

Closer to us than las Fuentes and Melodys, but just as yummy. Smaller than las Fuentes , and nicer than melodys. They have enough parking in back and security. Plenty of friendly staff. This time we went Saturday lunch time.

Their chicken soup is so good. I actually don't ask for chicken inside I enjoy the broth with rice and cilantro and onion with lime. They also have tasty crispy tacos. I enjoy the shredded beef Tasty place, hit or miss with delivery but overall good.
